Help on Scent Throw??

I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with getting the scent throw just right??  Mine always seem too light - at least that is what I hear.  I use the wax Astorlite J223.  Please let me know if there is something I am missing.  I would like to have a nice STRONG scent to my candles.  Anything would help.  Thank you.

try adding crisco.
