Could/would someone be so kind to tell me how do I make WHITE candles. I understand I need to add something to the soy wax, however, I have no idea what it is. I am new to making candles and found out that just melting the wax does not make it white. Also would like to know---if I use artificial flowers in the candles & place them on the side of the container, away from the flame, do I need to add something on the flowers to prevent a fire. I know they have to be away from the wick. however, am not sure if I need to coat the flowers before using them.
