I am new to this forum, and a little new to candle making. I have been doing this for about 6 months and I also love mottling wax, these are the waxes I have tried and love. First one is the igi 4630 one pour wax. it is creamy opaque great scent throw but very hard to color as it is white so you have to use a lot of color. The 2 types of mottling wax are igi 1274 no additives required it holds about 6 to 8 percent depending on the scent, need to be topped off because paraffin mottling wax sinks after curing so what my secret is I turn on the broiler for 3 minutes and put them in there and it remelts only the top and it dries flat. The other mottling container wax I use is 2530H and I can only find it at candlewic. it holds 8 to 10 % no additives. I use three different companies for scent, brookstone, save on scents and candles and supplies the best are brookstone, than save on scents and than candle and supplies. If brookstone carried every scent I needed I'd only order from them but they have a limited selection but they are the best so far. I have learned a lot by trial and error so if you need more advice or help email me at charlenabb@peoplepc.com. Good luck char
